My Story
Hi there - I'm Hannah Jones, a leader within my company. I am a college student and former nanny who originally joined back in Sept 2019 just to get cash back on my own purchases. I hadn't really used Scentsy before - I used the off brand stuff because honestly, my wallet couldn't afford it. I had just bought my very first home at the age of 20 and money was tight. After trying Scentsy, I immediately noticed a difference and fell in love. Scentsy was offering a $15 join special at the time that would allow me to get a discounted warmer, free bar, and free testers (so that I could become familiar with what I did and didn't like since I wasn't really familiar with our scents). I like a good deal.. it just made sense. I didn't intend on selling - I had tried direct sales before.. it just wasn't my thing.
I began sharing the products I had bought for myself when they arrived and suddenly, I realized I had the best support system in the world... people wanted what I was sharing. Never, ever, did I expect my business to bloom into what it did less than a year later. I never thought I would be a Director, but here I am.
Thankfully, I was able to quickly realize the potential for additional income to allow me to take less hours at work which meant I could spend more time doing the things that I enjoyed but didn't have the time for with the hours I worked. Before I knew it, I was exceeding my full-time income and was able to quit my job all together and work 100% from home, especially through a pandemic.
This business supported me financially through a nasty break up and nearly losing my home. It saved me when I was drowning in debt and allowed me to become debt free. It has allowed me to make my own schedule. It has sent me on paid vacations. I have been able to become financially free and independent.
Besides the financial impact this business has given me, my self-confidence has grown beyond a doubt. It has pushed me out of my comfort zone. I feel as though Scentsy has truly allowed me to find out who I am and given me a platform to dump my passion and creativity into. The community, my team, and the relationships I have made are extremely precious to me and I cant even imagine my life without some of the people I have met throughout this journey. With this business as my vessel, I will continue to BE THE LIGHT even if the world is in a dark place. It has been put on my heart to share this blessing with anyone who will listen. I will always choose Scentsy.
